Ok to suggest purchasing from specific seller in the listing??

Hey guys!

Currently I'm dealing with Chinese hijackers on my listing selling counterfeit products. I was curious if it's against Amazon TOS to put somewhere in the listing that it's recommended to purchase from the brand owner seller to avoid receiving counterfeit products.

I'm the brand owner and original listing creator. I haven't given permission to anyone that they can sell my product. Eventually I am going to register my trademark in Canada (already registered in US), but for now I was curious if I can limit customers purchasing this counterfeit item from my hijackers.

Hello @Seller_DPetgMN6a9UZU,

Michelle at Amazon here. As @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAC stated, sellers are not allowed to list personal information on the detail page. You can read more about that here. If your products are in Brand Registry, I would recommend that you do a test buy and then provide the Order ID and images of the product you received along with images of what you should have received through the Brand Registry Report a Violation tool.

If your items are not part of Brand Registry, then you can do the same process with test buys and send the report through this Report a Violation tool.

I hope this information is helpful.

Regards,

Michelle
