Suspected IP violations for Design right misuse Airpods
Hello All,
My listings was deactivated saying that I have violated the amazon policy of Intellectual property Infringement. Like in no way there is any similarity between my product and airpods. I dont know what to do i am tired of explaining this to the amazon reps. Please help . This is the following response from them :
I'm glad to help with your request about the listing removal of your brand protected ASIN.
We removed your listings because you may have improperly used design patents of "AirPods" with patent number "US 60556374".
Only "AirPods" and their licensees can list patented products.Please provide supporting documentation such as a letter of authorization or licensing agreement if you confirm the following:
- You are authorized to use these design patents.
- The removed listing doesn’t infringe the "AirPods" patent.
- You’re allowed to list "AirPods" patent with your own brand name.

Can you provide exactly what kind of intellectual property (IP) complaint you are needing to address? The next steps would vary greatly depending on if this is a received or suspected IP complaint. In addition to sharing if this is a recieved or suspected IP complaint, you would also want to provide what kind of infringement is taking place (trademark, counterfeit, copyright, etc) in order for us to better assist you.
If you have already addressed the violation, can you provide some information about your submission (to include any of the examples listed in your post) and why the appeal was rejected?
