AVASK & ATS vs AVASK & UPS
Hello,
So I am about to enrol in the Customs Clearance & Shipping Services on Amazon and I have been presented with two registration options: AVASK & UPS and AVASK & ATS (Amazon shipping company).
With AVASK & UPS - You get to ship with UPS from your domestic storage facility, cross-border UK<>EU into an FBA Fulfilment Centre and receive discounted partnered carrier rates for the entire shipment.
With the AVASK & ATS - You will ship from your warehouse to a domestic Amazon Sort Centre, and Amazon ships the goods across the customs border on your behalf for free.
It seems AVASK & ATS is a better option, cost-wise.
Anybody that has used this service should kindly advise.
Thank you

I am also comparing between ATS and UPS for UK-to-Germany shipment. I will probably go with UPS as it looks like the domestic sorting for ATS might get overwhelmed during peak season (that thread was October last year where shipments start to build up). They might have improved their processes by now, so I will see if others report any more problem this coming peak season. If you are going with ATS, would be nice if you can share your experience
AVASK says you can switch from one to the other, so you can always switch from ATS to UPS after you have started the programme if you don’t like it.
I have been using UPS for UK-to-US shipments for quite a while now and it is pretty good, so I will probably stick to UPS for this one.

I am using ATS and it is a very slow process. It can often take 4 weeks to get the stock on sale.
