Account deactivated - no specific reason

Dear Amazon Seller Central Team,

I am writing to complain about the deactivation of my Amazon seller account on 18-May-2024. My account was deactivated for no specific reason. I am a small seller on Amazon since 2020 and my account is ''healthy'' with 0 violations. I have already filled out the form sent on the notification, chose 3 slots for the interview but have never received an invitation for the verification call.

First notification received on April 24th

On that very same day I submitted the required information and received a confirmation that Certification was done.

Then on May 18th my account was deactivated suddenly and no explanation was provided. Between the notification in April and the deactivation in May, I had to change my bank information. It took a while for Amazon to verify my new bank information ( I dont know the reason ) but after a few days they ended up confirming my new bank information and I assumed everything was fine. I am not sure this caused the deactivation, I am just guessing.

I have contacted Amazon Seller Central support multiple times to inquire about the deactivation of my account, but I have not received a satisfactory explanation. I have already submitted the required documents ( invoices, importation documents. packing lists, business licenses, etc)

I am very frustrated by this situation, as it is causing me significant financial difficulties.

I received another notification on May 25th asking me to fill out the form AGAIN and choose 3 slots for the video verification. This is so ridiculous. I had already filled the form and chose the dates. Why Amazon cannot honour the dates I chose ? They made me wait for days for the video call and I never received the invitation by e-mail. Now I have to WAIT again for the new 3 slots chosen and pray that they will send me an invitation and actually show up for the interview. And the most bizarre is that I don't know the reason why my account was deactivated. This should be the minimum information provided so the seller could take proper action to FIX THE PROBLEM!!!!

I understand you have questions regarding your account.

Per this notification, it does appear some part of your business operations have breached some part of Amazon's Business Solutions Agreement. If we focus in on section three as it is cited- "We may suspend or terminate your account or this Agreement immediately if we determine that (a) you have materially breached the Agreement and failed to cure within 7 days of a cure notice unless your breach exposes us to liability toward a third party, in which case we are entitled to reduce, or waive, the aforementioned cure period at our reasonable discretion; (b) your account has been, or our controls identify that it may be used for deceptive or fraudulent, or illegal activity; (c) your use of the Services has harmed, or our controls identify that it might harm, other sellers, customers, or Amazon’s legitimate interests; (d) your Account Health Rating falls below our published threshold(s) for deactivation; or (e) if we are required to do so by law."

How could your business have violated this agreement?

This will often be due to the availability of interviewers for those preferred days and times. Due to volume and potential extenuating circumstances, there was no time the team could confirm that would work for yourself and them. As this scenario is important for you as you have expressed, please ensure you are rescheduling as soon as possible. Once a time is confirmed- which will occur 48 hours prior to the time that works for both parties- you will receive a link to the video meeting to use when the time comes.
