cannot setup Free shipping template
Greetings, Everyone!
I'm eager to establish a complimentary shipping template on my Amazon Seller Central (FBM) account and could use some guidance regarding the Shipping Settings. Here's where I could use your expertise:
Upon navigating to Settings -> Account info -> Shipping Settings, I've come across the following information:
"You have an Individual selling plan. Features to customize your shipping settings and update your shipping rates are available in the Professional selling plan."
I wholeheartedly appreciate any insights you can provide in advance!

Use of shipping templates requires you to be on the professional plan. So, you need to upgrade your selling plan (account info). It costs about $40/month.

First, congratulations on actually finding those settings!
Seriously, there are 'experienced' sellers that can't get that far.
Since you missed the part about needing a Pro account to set shipping you MIGHT take an hour or two and review Seller U and all their 'helpful' hints on how to build a business on here.
Pay particular attention to the sourcing and brand approval sections since there are hundreds of new sellers getting suspended every week for violations.
The first question is -- Are you authorized IN WRITING by the BRAND to sell their items on Amazon? That means from the BRAND, not some random wholesale source that can NOT authorize anything – they only SELL.
More and more brands have provided a "whitelist" of their approved sellers and if YOU are NOT on the list you will be stopped in your tracks and probably hit with an IP violation.
The second (and probably more important) question is -- Where are you sourcing your products? Are you buying direct from the brand or through an AUTHORIZED wholesale source?
NOTE – DOING RA IS NOT PERMITTED ON AMAZON. PERIOD

If you decide you want to switch to the Professional Plan, you can following the instructions here: Switch to a Professional selling plan
Good luck to you!

CR here and first want to acknowledge the feedback and guidance provided by the above sellers and forum contributors. Thank you for hopping in @Seller_z3XfkorVSmnEY, @Seller_kIukTwdhvntAp, @Seller_LImVvUWeyiCfQand @Seller_4zBzdtgCyS9EI.
I only wanted to chime in to provide an additional layer of resources here for you. As mentioned above, customizing shipping settings are available in the Professional selling plan.
I have went into your account and confirmed that you are on the Individual selling plan. This link provides you with the process on how to upgrade to the Professional selling plan.
Please note as stated above that there is a fee of $39.99/month for the Professional selling plan which differs from the costs associated with the Individual selling plan, which instead is a $.99 per item fee sold. Depending on how much you are planning to sell each month may also play a factor into your decision. For further information, please review this Selling Plan Comparison.
Hope this helps!
