VAT Exemption issue

In order to be classified as VAT exempt with regard to the VAT charged on your fees you must meet the following criteria.
- You must be registered as a business in the UK (i.e. a Limited Company or a Sole Proprietorship / Sole Trader).
- You must have your business details added to your selling account under settings > account info > identity information.
- You must be earning less than the VAT registration threshold of £85,000.
- You must provide a document to confirm you are in business and actively trading, I'll outline the acceptable documents below for your reference.
In order to proceed with your VAT exemption request please provide us with one of the following documents for your sole proprietorship.
- A copy of your most recent yearly tax return showing sole trader revenue. If you have not yet submitted a tax return for your business please provide the following.
- A letter from HMRC specifically confirming your self employment status as well as the date you registered with HMRC as self employed. Or a letter from HMRC confirming your status as a sole trader / sole proprietor as well as the date you registered your sole proprietorship / sole trader business with HMRC.
