Eligible for Return, Refund or Replacement within 30 days of receipt
Why is it Amazon you allow the customers to return an item after 30 days of receipt and you go by the Deliver by date? This harms the sellers who deliver their items faster to the customer.
For example, Deliver by Fri, Oct 13, 2023 to Fri, Oct 20, 2023 and I ship out the book today and the customer will get it on Oct 7, 2023.
Going by the product detail page: "Eligible for Return, Refund or Replacement within 30 days of receipt;" the customer should be able to return this item by November 7, 2023. However, you allow the customers extra time and go by the deliver by date and sometimes even further.

Thanks for the post here and inquiry. It is true that Amazon has a customer-centric approach and aims to provide an extraordinary experience to customers. For this reason, it is Amazons policy that most items bought on Amazon.com, including those that are seller-fulfilled, can be returned within 30 days of the Estimated Delivery Date. However, the timing may vary based on the product category in accordance to Amazon’s Return policies. To determine if a product has a longer return timeline, go to Amazon.com Returns Policy. Following authorization of a return request, the buyer has 15 days after the return window closes, allowing for transit time for a buyer to return an item.
