UPS Fraud
The UPS employee claims I sent a package that costs $1600 to ship even though it was a small poster tube.
I filed a complaint. Waited a whole week and all they say is I'm wrong and UPS is right after speaking to UPS.
It's a he said, she said and they are taking the side of whoever this employee is who basically ripped me off. Now they want me to pay for the theft out of pocket instead of the UPS company acknowledging they are wrong and refunding the $1600 to my account.
This is not the first time I have heard of this in these forums. It is very concerning if, at any time, a UPS employee can ask for more shipping cost money and lie about how much is owed by putting massively inflated numbers into a computer.

What were the dimensions and weight and the contents of the tube? Did UPS dispute your measurements?
Was it shipped internationally, and if so was it subject to tariffs in the destination country?

I reviewed the details for the order, shipment, and carrier adjustment. I understand that this is not the result you are looking for, but the adjustment and your appeal were investigated, and the carrier-audited information was confirmed.
It is important to note that the carrier adjustment was applied to the return shipment and not the outbound shipment. Starting in January 2023, sellers became responsible for carrier shipping correction charges on customer returns of seller-fulfilled orders caused by incorrect return label information.
