Unusual large quantity orders fraud ?

HI all i wanted to share a issue with you all

well i received a order yesterday from a buyer name Jenette from US marketplace its our macrame swing chair product which is very likely to sell and yesterday i got 3 swing order at once which approx valued $800 and then buyer sent me message if i have more she want to buy more now the issue is nobody in the history bought large quantity and that too this order on self ship so i am afraid if buyer file a false claim i will lose my money $800 thats too much and as all we know we cant do anything but on other side i am in dilemma if buyer is geniune so i am unable to decide.

to my surprise when i checked my father also have shop with different name and he also recieved swing order that too 3 swings at once which usually doesnt happen and he also rcvd email stating same she asked to buy more,

what do you guys think what should i do? i still have not fulfilled the order but i am afraid as a small business this money is too much for me if i cancel i will be penalized for not shipping

Good afternoon @Seller_nP6TAdW9QwYlP,

Other sellers would likely point out that cancelling orders will have a negative impact on your Cancellation Rate metric. If you are concerned that the buyer may be abusive, you can report them using this link. Amazon won't provide you with the details of their investigation, but it's an important step in documenting suspected fraud.

Also remember that a general best practice would be to set max quantity limits if you do not want one buyer to purchase over a certain amount of stock.

Let me know what you ended up doing!
