Order saying deliver in 2 day and it is standard shipping.
Deliver date is set to two day and standard shipping was selected. I have multiple orders that were booked on the 6th and are to be delivered by the 8th and they are not two day shipping. Has this happened to anyone else or just me?

Look to your handling time default. Look to all your shipping templates. Make sure Amazon has not changed anything to managed by Amazon (automation)

Hello @Seller_nyJaxS9FiHxt2. @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6bl gave you good advice to check your shipping settings to make sure that there are no unexpected settings, such as shipping automation.

I had the same thing happen on the 6th - had to ship an order to CA 2nd Day Air.

if amazon created it, it would not work properly. Amazon cannot ever leave anything alone. They don't suffer we do.

If your standard shipping service (for example UPS Ground) will get it there in two days, Amazon will show it as a 2 day service. On the order it will say which service it used to calculate the delivery time. I get a lot of orders which say 2nd Day, they are UPS Ground shipments which are in my region.

How do you opt out of shipping automation?? I dont get it. We had all of our handling time changed to 2 days automatically and thats causing a big problem. Called on the phone, they did not know what to do or how it works. This is an absolute mess right at the holidays Now we had to turn off orders and put the account on vacation until this gets figured out, total nightmare,,. KJ_Amazon? by the way it looks like shipping automation is not even turned on...this is all very confusing... but amazon sure swept in a day ago and defaulted handling times to 2 days, thats what I want turned off. Unless this is just amazons way of forcing merchant fulfilled out, which is looking like that's what is happening.

I have the same issue. I am already behind and this is going to cause a lot of time and stress. I am on vacation mode to manually go in and adjust all my inventory

if your item has 0 or 1 day handling and it says
ship by: 6
deliver by : 8
maybe the delivery address is within your state or the next state over.
i am in California and it somehow upgrades my delivery date to 2 days from shipment date when it goes to for instance arizona or texas
I have no problem with that since standard shipping to those states only take 2 days to complete.

I heard some others complaining that it was the NEW 1 day handling time that was requiring higher/(faster) shipping rates/times.
It seems that Amazon wants Merchant Fulfilled to be FAST shippers (unlike them) at any cost.
Note that the 2 day handling time has been removed as an option in our ship settings. You can no longer go back to 2 day like we use to unless you assign a SKU-specific Handling Time individually.
I use to offer Expedited shipping. I had to go back and delete that option altogether because it was costing more than the item on occasions..
Not sure if this is the answer to the problem, but it's the last major change I've noticed.
