GPSR and excluding NI as a Handmade seller in UK

I think I need to stop my items showing for sale in NI because of the new GPSR regs coming in. However I can't see a way to do this.

I sell on Handmade and don't have shipping profiles, my shipping charges are set by Amazon. I don't get to change them and I don't have a list of countries to tick/untick. Does this mean that I can't exclude NI? How can I be compliant for GPSR?

I take it from that you are on the individual selling plan.

If so that’s correct you can’t exclude Northern Ireland.

As such you are correct that you can’t 100% comply with GPSR as you can’t add the relevant data to the listings (manufacturers and responsible persons etc)

Unfortunately Amazon simply do not see that this is a requirement on Amazon UK.

Sorry there isn’t another answer.

Amazon are still saying that we can sell to NI safely even with GPSR. For the moment, I'm just going with the flow and seeing what happens.

Oh and there's also some uncertainty (with some experts) about what constitutes a 'new' item placed on the market. Depending on what you sell and when they were made, you could argue the items were pre-Dec13. How would the EU know what you have made and what you haven't, if you've been listing that product for months or years.

I imagine the burden of proof would be on you to prove that they were produced prior to the 13th.
