Ive tried setting up my amazon account for the past 3 months, i had to get an entirely new bank account to add a card for payment to make my first payment for the seller account. and it says i owe 179 dollars but ive never even made a listing. Can someone explain why is this? and why am I not being charged the 39.99 as i signed up for? Ive never even made a listing due to payment error.

You will also need a valid, chargeable credit card on file before you can sell anything. That's NOT a debit or prepaid card, but an actual credit card.
