FBA warehouse thinks our case packs of inventory are units
We have had multiple instances of the FBA warehouse thinking that our case cartons, which contains multiple units, are actually the units themselves. This occurs both during receiving (e.g. we send 2 cases containing 4 units each, for 8 units total, and the warehouse only counts 2 and says 6 are "missing"), and fulfillment (for instance, customers contacted us stating that they only ordered 1 unit but got a large case containing 6).
Has anyone else had this issue and how would this be resolved?

We are shipping the cases exactly as FBA instructed us:
The outer case cartons have the shipping label and the box label (which shows that it's a case pack of multiple units).
The item packages inside have FNSKU labels.
It doesn't make sense that FBA would count or fulfill the case cartons instead of opening them to find the real units inside, when the FNSKU labels are not on the cases.
