Refund for orders right after shipping of return item
Why does Amazon refund customers right after they ship the item back?
Sometimes they refund immediately after shipping and we don't have any opportunity to deduct for return shipping label or restocking fee if the item arrives used or damaged.
Does anyone have any experience of how this could be handled? Is there any opportunity to deduct restocking fees after Amazon processed the refund?

This is Amazon's Refund at First Scan (RFS) system for FBM returns, and you can read more about it here.
