Guaranteed Next Day via Buy Shipping - 20 items lost
Good morning! We have been actively using Amazon’s Buy Shipping service since last Christmas. We usually send packages via RM24, RM48, and RM Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm. We receive daily collections, and we simply hand everything over to the driver. So far, we have not encountered any problems.
However, on Tuesday, 2nd May, we sent out approximately 20 next day deliveries, all purchased via Amazon Buy Shipping. None of them are showing any updates. I have checked the manifests, and it appears that the next day deliveries are not listed on any of them. Additionally, when I check our Amazon transactions - going back months, I cannot find the charges for these shipments anywhere on my account. We have been using this service for months without any issues, and any problems we have experienced were with a different courier.
I understand that the Special Guaranteed deliveries require a “drop off”, but this does not explain the absence of charges related to these shipments, nor does it clarify why everything was functioning smoothly for months and then suddenly, all of our next day deliveries went missing in a single day. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

AFAIK special delivery is paid to amazon , not Royal mail as they are a set price and not contracted prices
Others have reported not receiving charges for some postage bought on amazon - a technical glitch you need to speak with amazon SS about
As there’s no trace of any kind of payment for them, you cannot make any kind of claim
I always send SD through my c&d account as there are extra manifests produced for each one with the tracking number which the postie scans to show they’ve been collected
Just checking too that you are printing out the end of day form manifest on amazon ?
