Amazon acting as a UK tax authority deciding I'm NOT a UK established business
Amazon have decided that my UK LTD company with a REAL registered office address where we hold stock and run day to day operations is NOT, according to their computers, a UK established company. We import stock from the Czech Republic, pay the relevant duty and then package it up for online sales on amazon and our own shop. We also sell B2B. The only foreign thing about our company are the two directors who live in the Czech Republic, including myself.

I believe that this maybe the problem.
Check this link for more info, it may help in confirming or otherwise.
When you sought the advice, did you tell them you live abroad?

Hello @Seller_KXI9goQzQCw2D,
Ash here to assist. It has been understood that you have concerns as your funds are on reserve due to the VAT liabilities.
Please note that to be considered "established" in the EU for VAT purposes, a business must physically operate from within the EU with sufficient resources.
Businesses that have an EU-incorporated legal entity without any physical operations within the EU are not considered established in the EU.
If you meet the criteria for having a tax address in the EU: submit the required documentation following the instructions on the Account health page, which provides a list of the necessary documents.
Did you submit the required documents as requested?
Once submitted, we will complete the review of your request and you will get notified with the next steps. If we verify that your company has a tax address in the EU, your Amazon sales revenue can be paid according to your payment schedule.
Please comment here if you have more questions. The forums community and I, are here to assist with your concerns.
Regards,
Ash.
