I need help adding Canada to my USA account

Please help! I have contacted Seller Support multiple times and no one can give me a clear answer.

When I started selling in 2021 I had a personal account, which I upgraded to a seller account (not sure if this is what has caused the issue..)

I am trying to do remote fulfillment to Canada but for some reason my account is not a North America Unified Account, even though I am in the US. The only options for me to select are US, Brazil, or Mexico, but Canada is greyed out and says this error message:

"We're unable to enroll you in the program, You can follow the below instructions to resolve this issue.

Reasons:

It is a requirement to have an FBA seller status to enroll in this program.

Seller is not register this marketplace.

Instructions:

In order to join Remote Fulfillment with FBA please visit FBA page to become an Amazon FBA seller, before you join Remote Fulfillment with FBA. Please note that you'll have to maintain FBA status in source as well as all target destination stores. We will automatically enroll you to our program as the issue is resolved.

Enrollment in Remote Fulfillment requires valid FBA account in source as well as in destination. Please visit the FBA account of destination store to resolve this issue. We will automatically enroll you to our program as the issue is resolved."

I don't understand what exactly that message is telling me to do, besides to create a new account in Canada, which I had to with a new email address, so it did not "automatically enroll me into our program" as it says it will do.. so confusing.

Seller Support says they cannot change my account to a North America Unified Account or allow me to sell in Canada and that I have to create a new Seller Account in Canada, which I have now done. They didn't provide any further instruction. I tried to merge the 2 accounts but get another error message, that says one account is "In Registration" and I need to cancel the registration. I contacted Seller Support again but they just say that I have to cancel the account that is in registration, which is frustrating because I only created that account because they told me that was the only way to sell in Canada.

Can someone PLEASE help fix my account so that I can do remote fulfillment to Canada?? Just let me know exactly what I need to do. Do I have to create a brand new US account? Is there a way to import all my listings/reviews/brand registry without having to create new ASINS and relabel everything and send in new inventory? I am so confused and frustrated and just want help figuring this out please.

Thank you for your post. Before listing products for Fulfillment by Amazon, it's important to know what are the policies and requirements that impact you as a seller using Amazon to fulfill orders for your products.

Do you have any errors on the page when you click on Canada? If so please post a screen shot.
