Royal Mail NEVER returns undelivered mail
Hi all,
I put this question to Royal Mail. None of the undelivered mail ever comes back to us. In the last 5 years that amounts to many orders approx. and possibly thousands of pounds.
Presently only one RM48 has been returned to us.
Thus, how many sellers do actually have returns from Royal Mail. The Royal Mail business advisor basically said hard cheese and was unwilling to help or suggest why.

how do you know you have undeliverable mail if its not coming back though ?

I’ve had a quite a few ‘undeliverable’ returns over the years but none recently…I’m glad to say.

We get many returns every week, ours are all tracked, not that this should make a difference though, although I guess they are more diligent as we can obvioulsy claim for any that did go missing - so far though in 15 years this has only happened on very rare instances.
