Create an ASIN for product, brand not registered yet

Hello, I am trying to create ASIN for my listing, but my Brand Registry is held up as our trademark name vs our name printed on retail product doesn't match. Can you help me create an ASIN please?

I would recommend holding off on trying to create any listings until the brand name issue is fixed because it is against policy to change the brand name on a listing after it has been created.

Good Evening @Seller_dS8zKHZQZGzuj,

I just wanted to follow up with you that even though your Brand Registry application is still under review or not submitted, you can still begin listing your ASINs as long as you provide the exact same name of your brand across the application and ASIN.

  • You can add your listings to your Brand Registry applications as a 'Sample ASIN' . Feel free to check out the Brand Registry Guide (Section 3.2).
  • If you have already started the application and forgot to add your listings to your application, once you officially enrolled in Brand Registry, the support team there can help you migrate the ASINs associated to your brand.

Please let us know if we can help answer any more of your questions or you may reach out to Selling Partner Support at anytime. Have a wonderful rest of the week.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
