Gated categories and brands
is it normal to start with every single category and product i searched seeming to be gated? I am trying to find any items and categories ungated but i don’t see any , have seen videos of people showing ungated itens and categories but everything seems to be gated for me , any adivice will be appreciated!
My concern is , do i need to ungate every single brand and category? If i ungate one brand and one category ,is that the only thing i will be able to sell?

If you're trying to sell regular brand name items that you'd find at a typical brick and mortar (home depot, target, walmart, etc) then yes, you're going to have a hard time getting ungated. And then when you do, you may still get shut down without an LOA (Letter of Authorization) from the brand that allows you to sell on Amazon.

Amazon has a number of Categories, Brands, and Products that require approval. Rather than focusing on finding products that don't require approval, I recommend ensuring you are sourcing inventory aligned with Amazons recommendations. Products are can go from not requiring approval to requiring approval at any time. By ensuring that you have invoices that meet Amazon's requirements you can protect the long term success of your business. Thank you for your understanding.
