UPS prices
Is it me or did they go up about 3.00 for 4 oz or less?
I used to be able to ship UPS for about 5.76 for a 4 ounce package when the customers address was not USPS verified, now they want 8 something??

Amazon did that "Amazon Sponsored Discounts" thing for a while, but they stopped that a while back. I don't think that anything under 1 lb. is offered at a lower price than 1 lb. anymore with UPS. (So, 4 oz. is just 1 lb. now when shipping by UPS unlike when they were doing the Amazon Sponsored Discounts.) Depending on where the package is going, that may be over $8 now. It could be even worse if the buyer is in a "Remote Area Surcharge" area. I got hit with one of those recently, inexpensive item going to address not serviced by the USPS and in a Remote Are Surcharge area. I ended up sending it by FedEx One Rate which ended up being my least expensive option since there is no Remote Area Surcharge with that service.

Hi @Seller_LTNvvFJ2jqJOv,
Dominic from Amazon here, happy to provide additional info. @Seller_DdmPiA1p1S2Wu brings up a good point around remote area surcharge.
Its tougher for us to troubleshoot UPS shipping costs as we don't have all the information UPS does on their rates.
Best,
Dominic
