Received an email from amazon, is it real or not?

I received 2 emails from amazon from this email address

account-confirmation-eu@amazon.co.uk

I received an email around 7 days ago and one today saying "We have not received the information requested in our previous email. If we do not receive this information within 7 days, you will no longer be able to access your Amazon Payments account." I completed the request 14 days ago and didn't think anything of it, however today I received the same email and when clicking on the link I basically answered the same Agree/Disagree question again ( I could see at the bottom of the page that the answer was submitted before ).

Anyways, on the page it basically asked me to confirm the statement that [My Name] is not politically active etc. And I completed it twice.

I'm now wondering if that was a legit email from Amazon and if they would ask for something like that over email.

If anyone had this happen to them or anybody from Amazon replying below would be great. I just hope my account is not compromised in any way. I got 2FA and changed my password just now.

Any email sent from Amazon will be shown in Performance > Performance notifications.

If there are any links within emails or asking for information such as passwords/important information, do not engage in email until you are confident that you indeed talking to Amazon.
