Shipping from EU to USA fulfillment center

Hello,

I have some inventory in Europe (Germany) which would be much better placed in the USA. The amount of stuff is not large enough to warrant ocean/container, it would be shipped via UPS. Would anyone have some pointers/links/things to watch out for regarding a direct shipment to a USA Amazon fulfillment center? I am generally familiar regarding dealing with customs issues, but not in connection with sending anything directly to Amazon.

Many thanks in advance!

Hello @Seller_ZYbDdxcUMgqhY, make sure your distributor has the correct Amazon FBA Box ID labels for your shipment. You can grant limited access to your seller account to access labels. For more information, see Set user permissions.

Each shipment sent into an Amazon fulfillment center requires an advanced dock appointment to be made by your carrier.

Shipments into the United States may be entered by a non-resident importer of record (IOR). To become a non-resident IOR, please contact your customs broker or carrier for details. When shipping imported goods to an Amazon fulfillment center, the fulfillment center may be listed as the deliver-to party on your shipping documentation.

A customs broker can help with understanding the necessary duties, taxes, fees, and proper documentation for your shipment to clear customs. Amazon will not be responsible for, or collect any duties, taxes, or shipping costs, associated with FBA inventory. All shipments are required to use Delivered Duty Paid. Amazon will not act as the partner governmental agency (PGA) importer or consignee for your shipment.

Review the following guidelines and requirements:

Important information for international sellers

Packaging and prep requirements

Shipping and routing requirements

I know this is a lot of information. Please let me know if you have questions!
