Received Intellectual Property Complaint (but not from the rights owner)
@Emet_AmazonI see that you've helped another seller with this recently and was hoping you could take a look for me.
I received an infringement warning by a company that is not the rights owner of the reported product. I spoke with the actual company and they said that they use this company as a "growth partner" for their Amazon account but that they did not and would not file anything about infringement.
Also, it was tagged as "counterfeit" by these people and the product is most certainly not counterfeit. I am not sure how this was allowed to process but I would really appreciate any help so this does not further impact my account status. I would even be willing to remove the listing if necessary just to avoid the annoyance (please advise if this would do anything to help).

This is not the place to appeal the violation. Instructions were given to you in the notification you received. provide them with the commercial, brand approved wholesale invoices and your brand LOA as required to sell on Amazon.

ANYONE can report potential IP issues. There is a "report this listing" button on every page....
As long as you got that brand LOA, just submit it and done. nothing you can do to change this....

Hello @Seller_9U8MMSzm8FLgU,
Thank you for posting your concerns with a received intellectual property complaint.
I am glad to see you have already provided the requested information, I would like to inquire on what documents you provided? If you provided invoices, please verify that they meet our requirements, additionally if you are sourcing from the brands website, that you are authorized to do so by the brand or their terms of use. Some companies only authorize the resale or distribution of their product with written permission.
Additionally if providing a letter of authorization, please ensure it meets all listed requirements in the linked help page.
The final option is to have the brand or rights owner issue a retraction. You advised already speaking with the brand who confirmed the individuals who issued the complaint work with them. If the brand can confirm with them you are authorized, they can issue the retraction to resolve the issue.
Since you have already submitted this information, can you advise when it was provided? This can help me follow up on the review to see if there's anything else I may be able to assist with.
As mentioned by @Seller_4zBzdtgCyS9EI, anyone can use the report to raise concerns of potential infringement, however in this scenario the individuals who issued the complaint are associated with the brand as confirmed by them. Although they should not be issuing complaints as noted, they seem to have and are approved to do so. Thus we would need to follow the normal process to dispute the situation and verify your authorization and or authenticity.
The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
Emet.
