Error code 8040 - over a month with no help from seller support
I've been receiving error code 8040 for a brand that I have successfully received catalog authorization from to create new ASINs. When i submit a flat file, it just comes up with error 8040 on the parent asin and says "You may not create new variation relationships for this Brand. You are free to add offers to any existing ASIN for this Brand. Please review our variation relationship policy here: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/G8831. If you believe the variation relationship you want to create is part of the ASIN family, contact Seller Support at https://sellercentral.amazon.com/hz/contact-us and mention error code 8040."
I've contacted Amazon and they've been no help at all and they've said "Thank you for submitting the requested information, we have contacted the specialist department to investigate this case." They keep saying the same thing everytime I ask why it's taking so long and expressing how urgent this issue is...
If any sellers know how to solve this please share. Otherwise, I hope to hear from Amazon from the forums on this matter. It's bothering me how long this is taking refering to case ID 15561660101!
