Buybox Issue (Not competitively priced) All sellers are following MAP Pricing but price is lower outside Amazon
Hi!
We have a listing that lost its Buybox a few weeks ago. All sellers are following the MAP Policy.
All Amazon sellers are priced at 395 but Amazon removed the Buybox stating it is Not competitively priced. I checked that some sellers OUTSIDE of Amazon are priced lower and violating MAP Policy, unfortunately we cannot lower the price because we need to follow MAP policy. Is there a way we could fix the Buybox Issue?
Thank you!

MAP Policy does not exist for Amazon. AMZ does not enforce MAP (that is between the Brand and their authorized dealers and contracts) and Amazon officially DOES NOT recognize MAP agreements. Any Brand agreeing to sell to Amazon is also agreeing to no MAP for Amazon, as a seller (it's part of Amazon's contract).
THAT BEING SAID... I too have seen Amazon state a Competitive price to match that I was unable to find anywhere online. I think it is unethical for them to state this, take away the Buy Box, and not show their source(s). It seems like bullying to artificially force sellers to lower their price.

A similar thing happened to us. All Products are MAP, and all sellers on Amazon sell at this price, but Amazon said prices off amazon were lower. The prices they were referencing were lower than cost and from sketchy sites. I purchased a few from various sites that had a price similar to the price Amazon was saying was the off-amazon competitive price. Sure enough, the products were counterfeit. Amazon didn't care.
No one had the buybox for a few weeks, because we are not allowed to change our pricing.
Eventually, Amazon stopped referencing whatever price (off-site) it was referencing. Sorry I am no help, but I wanted to add my story to this thread.

We have 341 unsellable items due to this issue as with toys Amazon has deleted sales data and many item setting limits to original msrp many times 5 years out of date. This is whey when they take it down it means it is time to sell it on another platform cause that listing will be dead with almost zero sales moving forward. Example last Xmas regular selling item out of production somehow got limited to $39.99 with sell rate 300+ a month but at $40.01ish buy box removed and sales went to zero during peak holiday sales time. AMAZON is manipulating sales and customer purchases! .
.
THIS IS AMAZON TELLING CUSTOMERS TO BUY SOMETHING ELSE DOESNT MATTER IF THEY ARE WRONG IT IS WHAT THEY ARE DOING!

This is done with the intent to harm sellers business! Should be illegal but then again this is a platform who has conflict of interest competing, stealing and blocking sales for its own selling customers in order for self profit! We have shifted big part of business back away from amazon we now on many items get higher prices retail and ebay so either way we will sell our inventory weather Amazon gets the sales revenue or not.

Hi there @Seller_lAJRLoYWf5r91,
I'm sorry you are having this issue with your eligibility for the Featured Offer. You may be able to have some influence if you provide a List Price for your product but in general I'm not able to provide specific details regarding Featured Offer Eligibility. However if you provide your most recent Seller Support case on this issue I will request an internal review of your eligibility. I won't be able to provide the results of the review, but I will be able to indicate when it is complete. Thank you for your understanding.

Your story is similar to so many of us in many ways.

It describes the "great and awesome" phenomenon FBM sellers are experiencing and the pattern of behaviour is very predictable. If we centralise our stories, it will get more attention to unveil the BS amazon has been doing
