Product ID and Product ID type
Hi Admin,
I want to add a new product which does not exist in the Amazon though I have a problem with Product ID and Product ID type section. I tried differed Code numbers though none of them was accepted by the system.
could you please recommend me in this regard.
thanks.
Mina.

Listing requirements: Product IDs (GTINs)
For most categories, you are required to provide a unique product identifier, known as a GTIN (Global Trade Item Number), to create new listings.
- The following are the most commonly used GTINs in the Amazon catalog:
- Universal Product Code (UPC)
- International Standard Book Number (ISBN)
- European Article Number (EAN)
- Japanese Article Number (JAN)
The specific GTIN required for product page creation and matching varies by category. The requirements of each category, including exceptions and exemptions where available, are summarized in the table on the Product ID (GTIN) requirements by category Help page.

Hello Mina @Seller_zhHxnVPzOX1nj,
Michelle from Amazon here. I am sorry to hear that you are having issues listing your item. As @Seller_AXC06kcsKI1qG stated, you must use a valid UPC when listing your items. You can read more on that here. You can also request an exemption as stated in their comment.
I hope you find this information helpful. Let me know if you have further questions or reach out to Seller Support for assistance.
Regards,
Michelle
