Out of stock / not found by search

The products that are currently out of stock are not showing up in searches as normal listings. One is currently waiting for FBA fulfillment, and the other is about to be shipped. The latter has disappeared from the listings on our brand page as well. Are these measures done automatically by the Amazon system? Also, will it be restored to normal once new stock is added? I don't think this has happened before. I would like to confirm. Any advice would be appreciated.
