Dangerous Goods Hazmat Review

I have been trying to get my product reviewed by the Dangerous Goods and Hazmat Review team. For weeks I have been given the runaround by Amazon Representatives. I finally asked to have my case escalated to the Leadership Team, and although I have been promised by multiple Amazon Representatives over the phone that I would be getting a call within 24 hours. It has been WEEKS, and I have yet to speak to anyone from the Leadership Team.

In fact, I am on the phone right now with another Amazon Representative because the Dangerous Goods and Hazmat team has not reviewed my application for a product that IS NOT EVEN DANGEROUS OR HAZARDOUS! I am being explicitly told by the Amazon Representative that the Leadership Team cannot speak to me despite her putting me on hold and asking them directly in person.

What is going on here? I feel like this is a strange game where I call Amazon every day about my issues, and it just gets put into a box somewhere, never to be seen or heard from again. What am I supposed to do?

I am stuck with the same issue. It has been a month and the team has not been able to classify my product. They do not give any direction on how to fix the problem and just says "unable to classify". Still am currently trying to resolve this as my invenotry is still stranded. Hoping someone can help ASAP.

Same for me. Amazon took days and days, and then finally MISCLASSIFIED a new product as a dangerous good. It's 100% not dangerous according to their own definitions; it's basically a plastic box in a cardboard box. Zero danger. The end user must install batteries, so this seems to be the source of the problem in Amazon's system. Once it sees the word "battery", it freaks out.

So of course, now I don't dare ship the products to the FBA warehouse because they will then get limited to dangerous goods handling warehouses and probably stuck there forever; or Amazon will charge me to remove them.

I asked for a reclassification but nothing so far after 10 days. Additional calls and emails do nothing.
