"Seller Central Account Created" emails
In the last year I have received 100+ emails like this. They keep coming and random intervals. No seller accounts were actually created. Every time I tell Amazon they claim it is some a spam email which it 100% is not. It is coming from Amazon. And they can't explain it.
Has anyone else got to the bottom of it - I know it's not happening to just me.

If you are able to post on this forum, which is for sellers only, then you must have created a seller account at some point.
Yes, there are lots of scam emails go around, but did you EVER start to open a seller account and then not complete it ?

I know what you are talking about - its the emails you would normally get when you create a Secondary User account. Yes, we've been getting them.
No idea why - they never tallied with the creation of a user account so just assumed its a bug in one of amazons programs that keeps sending the emails out.
We just ignore them now - not great as I'd never spot if the account was hacked of course.

I don't know why it happens but just adding a response that this happens to us too, the email is definitely from Amazon and it's the one you receive when a new secondary user has been added.
I've just got in the habit of checking my secondary accounts each time I receive the email and there's never been a new account - very annoying though.
I've thought about logging it with Seller Support but I've had already had 100s of painful encounters with the copy paste replies/bot replies that it's too much effort.

Same here, I get those too. No idea why.
Like others I've not even bothered to open a ticket as I can't handle the 45 to and fro messages which won't result in an answer

I take it you sell or have atleast a seller account for more than one country?
I think Amazon send them out every time they verify the card is on file.
If you sell in UK and Europe that is about 10 accounts. They verify every 6 months the card I believe so that’s 20 emails
I get them too 1 for each seller account twice a year (could be a big coincidence but that’s my theory)
Especially look at the email addresses it comes from .com .co.uk .de etc
Also when my card expired I got an email saying expired then once updated got the seller account created email

Yes, same here. We also received these emails.

Yep - us too. Random intervals - generally the middle of the night. We opened a case but obviously (as with any case ever) it's just a complete waste of time. It's not us requesting a new account, and it's a genuine Amazon email. As to why they're being sent? No idea.

Hello @Seller_hQWyCZBeHdcje,
I am Spencer with Amazon.
Could you give me a case ID regarding this issue?
I would like to investigate this further as more sellers are posting about it.
Regards, Spencer

I've been receiving this since months.
Last reply from ss says - its because I have not provided permission to issue refund to my secondary account holder and that why system will randomly send these message.
The seller support was quite adamant and was saying its exactly as per the amazon's policy and ask me not to open new case on the matter.
