LOST AGAIN Buy Box Eligibility / Featured Offer Eligibility for Books

After around 10 years of having Featured Offer Eligibility in the books category, I have suddenly lost the Featured Offer Eligibility again for no apparent reason. Nothing has changed on my end. My account remains in excellent (perfect) standing, all of my metrics meet the target requirements (this includes my shipping metrics and competitive pricing). I don't have any violations and my feedback score is top notch. I don't understand the sudden change. I must assume this is a technical glitch or bug in the system and I am asking an Amazon associate to step in and review my case (Case ID 15440052921) Please forward my case to the Buy Box Eligibility team. I have already opened a case but seem to get only automated responses and no real answer. Please note that this pertains to ALL BOOKS (which is 95% of my storefront listings) however I have given a couple ASINS as examples (0134527704 and B0BBJTHFSD are just a couple of examples you can use). My Case ID is 15440052921. Please, and thank you in advance. For the record I am not talking about "winning" the buy box, but simply remaining ELIGIBLE.

There are SO MANY of these threads that I feel like it must be a glitch rather than legit non-eligibility. There have been at least 30 such cases posted here in the past couple of weeks.

I have spoken to many friends in the bookselling community including sellers with many, many thousands of units at FBA that employ 40+ people. Others 100% merchant fulfiilled. They are all having a meltdown on this too. It is terrifying for them. We have had some very good days in May and June in keeping and surpassing last year but also close to 80% drop on other days. It may be a glitch but many publishers really would prefer we did not exist, or exist on very different terms. There may be a shift in management culture at Amazon to work directly with all brands for new product over used, and eliminate 3p book sellers. I have been selling books since 1985 in school holidays and full time since July 1994. We can withstand quite a large, permanent contraction but if the magnitude of current drop increases might have to bow out early. I love this job but not blinded by sentimentality in facing this potential bloodbath head on

Best of luck. We are facing the same issue for the past few weeks. Amazon has changed something on their end which is causing widespread loss of FoE for qualified booksellers.

I was previously able to get eligibility restored, but support seems to no longer want to help.

I am in a similar situation, we have been selling for over 10 years now. I have been averaging around $1,300 in sales, and lately my sales are just $40-$100 a day. The buy box eligibility must either have been screwed, or the algorithm must have been manipulated by few "VIP" favourite Amazon sellers.

Any help from the MODS would really be appreciated.

Amazon is trying to force changes with your pricing. Lower the price a few cents and watch it return, Then change it back.

I have a Chinese seller who has manipulated the system. And Amazon has not taken any action to get this one fixed. Instead of helping me, they are helping (Chinese Seller) them out. I have been trying to change the NODES to the right category, guess what Amazon did. They told me that they cannot get this one fixed.

I have written numerous Seller Abuse complaint, and Amazon has not taken any real action. They have just told me that the abuse complaint would be addressed by a different department (but the would not get back to you). What a shame >?

My sales has dropped over 95% because Amazon has not helped me out, but is helping a counterfeit seller getting all the sale.
