Someone Changed my brand name AGAIN

Someone has changed my brand name to Eaasok. This is the SECOND time my brand name was changed without my knowledge and the support cases always say the same thing "you do not have permission to change this brand name" and I am the brand owner. How is it getting changed in the first place?? This is incredibly frustrating and I feel like Amazon isn't protecting my listing. How can I stop this from happening??

Hello @Seller_pdcTEQvTHZ0wF,

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I am happy to assist wherever I can. Please provide the latest seller support case here so that I can pull all the relevant information and potentially escalate this for you.

In the interim, I created a post about a month ago addressing these types of situations: Protect Your Brand from Unauthorized Brand Name Changes on Amazon - Here's How

I look forward to assisting further.

Best, Dougal

You need to get your brand trademarked and into brand registry.

This is called a Hijacking, and it was done by a Chinese based seller who has purchased a vendor central account on the black market.

There is virtually nothing you can do.

Are you brand registered?

Good luck with getting your brand protected.

Brand Owners should be the only ones who can make changes and we're all tired of these bad actors and hijackers that Amazon not protecting us.

We too are the brand owner of our brand, but anyone can sell our products on here without the Brand Owners (our) permission.

This has happened to me too. Get in contact with sellercentral on CHAT (not email or phone) and resolve this. In my case it happened because the Amazon software assigned the wrong ASIN to my product . It is pretty easy to point that out to sellercentral so that they can rectify it.

this just happened to me too. i think a chinese seller hijacked my best selling product. I contacted seller support through chat and went through 5 "specialists". All of them, except the last one, gave me this response.

"After a review, we've determined that the attribute you would like to update for this ASIN has already been claimed by another representative of the brand."

The last specialist said, "we refreshed the ASIN to let the correct brand name propagate on ASIN particulary which will eventually remove the gating."

Now, I have to wait 48 hours to see if it worked.

Were you able to resolve your issue? If so, how did you do it? thank you for your time.
