2 separate orders of 5 units to get ungated?
To my understanding Amazon requires an invoice with at least 10 total items to get ungated. Many of the websites I come across only let you buy 5 items at once. Would I be able to buy 2 orders of 5 items (for a total of 10 items) and still be able to become ungated?

That is ONE condition. And as you write, they ask for an INVOICE.
will not give you an INVOICE but a receipt.
Additionnally to an invoice from an authorized distributor (the brand owner will tell you who is an authorized distributor) of each brand you need also a "Letter of Authorization" from the brand allowing you to sell their brand on Amazon.
