Fixed Price Law for Books

Please note that the sale to end customers of books in Spain is subject to the Books Act 10/2007 of 22 June (“Books Act”). According to the Books Act, the selling price of books must be the price fixed by the Publisher and can only be discounted up to a maximum of 5% off the fixed price. This restriction does not apply to books that fall under one of the exclusions or exceptions of the law.

Please review the Books Acts for a complete understanding of the legal requirements, which is available for example on this website: https://boe.es/buscar/act.php?id=BOE-A-2007-12351.

It is your responsibility to comply with all legal requirements and local laws. Amazon can remove uncompliant offers. Amazon cannot provide any legal advice. You should reach out to your legal advisor if you have any concerns or questions and generally to ensure compliance with all laws, including the Books Act.
