The first time you convert your listings to Fulfilled by Amazon, you will be asked if you want to send us your inventory using existing UPC or EAN barcodes for "Stickerless, Commingled Inventory" or using Amazon labels you affix to the individual units for "Labeled Inventory". In the latter case, the label must cover the original barcode completely.
Commingling your inventory allows Amazon to combine your inventory to inventory belonging to Amazon or to other sellers which is of the same type and condition. When a customer purchases a product from your inventory, we do not physically distinguish your unit from that of other sellers. This enables us to process customer orders more efficiently.
Please note that the "Stickerless, Commingled Inventory" option refers to individual product units, not the shipment; all shipments sent to our fulfillment centers require shipping labels.
No. In order for a product to qualify for Stickerless Commingled Inventory, it must meet the following criteria:
To prevent delays in processing your inventory, certain other products may not be eligible for Stickerless Commingled Inventory.
For more information, see Stickerless, Commingled Inventory.
When you create a new shipping plan through the Send/Replenish Inventory option in your Manage Inventory page, or when you work on an existing shipping plan which has not yet been completed, you will be guided through each step in the preparation of your shipment to an Amazon fulfillment center. Whenever the inventory requires labeling, you will be able to print product labels. Product labels can also be printed through the Print Item Labels option on the Manage Inventory page. Labels will bear the product title to help you match the label to the correct product.
Blank adhesive labels can be purchased any office supply store or on the Amazon website.
If we encounter mislabeled products at our fulfillment centers, we will have to re-label the products correctly to make them available for sale or return them to you. We may charge an Unplanned Service Fee if we do the labeling for you.
Yes. When you create a new shipping plan through your Manage Inventory page or you work on an existing shipping plan which has not yet been completed, you will be guided through the preparation of your shipment to an Amazon fulfillment center, and you will be able to choose the Amazon Label Service for each product.
For further details concerning fees for this service, refer to our FBA Pricing page.
Each unit you ship to us should be ready for us to pack and ship to your customers. For example, fragile products need to be individually packed with protective material, such as bubble wrap. Otherwise, Amazon will reserve the right to return those units to you.
